Churchill And Thornton's To Unveil Pricing For Derby And Oaks Infield Stores

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (April 14, 2002) - Churchill Downs and Thornton Oil Corporation will hold a press conference Tuesday, April 16, at 10:00 a.m. (EDT) to discuss product selection and pricing for the two "Thorntons Quick Café and Market" facilities that will operate in the Churchill Downs Infield on Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks Days.

The press conference will be held in the Paddock Pavilion at Churchill Downs.

The Thorntons facilities, which will operate in large tents in the Infield, are a major part of Churchill Downs' Kentucky Derby and Oaks customer service and hospitality programs that will accompany the new security measures in place for America's two biggest days of racing.

Representative for Thorntons and Churchill Downs will be on hand to answer questions about the Infield stores and the wide range of products that will be available for purchase at market prices at the Thorntons facilities on both days.
