SILVER CHARM, in hand after coming away in good order, came out from between horses approaching the backstretch, moved up four wide approaching the stretch, reached the front with a furlong remaining and was all out to prevail over CAPTAIN BODGIT. The latter, unhurried while outrun early, saved ground into the backstretch, commenced to advance approaching the far turn, angled out five wide entering the stretch, leaned in slightly behind SILVER CHARM nearing the final sixteenth, then continued on gamely when straightened away. FREE HOUSE broke to the outside, then quickly reached contention. He remained outside PULPIT while vying for the lead into the stretch, held on well to the final sixteenth and drifted in while weakening. PULPIT, prominent from the outset, raced well out from the rail while showing speed, dueled for command to the upper stretch and tired. CRYPTO STAR was without speed while saving ground, continued along the inside into the stretch and failed to seriously menace while passing tired horses. PHANTOM ON TOUR, close up early, raced within easy striking distance between horses to the stretch and gave way. JACK FLASH, outrun early, moved between horses around the far turn, came out for the drive and laced a further response. HELLO failed to be a serious factor. CONCERTO, steadied along the inside behind PULPIT racing into the first turn, continued to save ground while being reserved until near the stretch and gave way when asked. CELTIC WARRIOR was never close. CRIMSON CLASSIC, wide into the first turn while showing early foot, continued wide into the backstretch and was finished at the far turn. SHAMMY DAVIS, fractious in the gate, was racing forwardly when checked between horses at the first turn and tired badly. DEEDS NOT WORDS tired badly while wide throughout. JACK FLASH AND SHAMMY DAVIS RACED WITH MUD CAULKS IN FRONT. CRYPTO STAR RACED WITH MUD CAULKS BEHIND.
