In Case Of Wind To Breeze Friday
ELLOLUV - Paul Reddam's Elloluv galloped a mile and a quarter after the
renovation break under exercise rider Enrique Alferez.
Trainer Craig Dollase plans to work Elloluv on Saturday at an
undetermined distance.
Robby Albarado has the Oaks mount.
GO FOR GLAMOUR - Columbine Stable's Go For Glamour jogged a mile under
exercise rider Andy Durnin after the renovation break.
Go For Glamour, to be ridden by Alex Solis in the Oaks, worked a
half-mile in :50 on Tuesday.
"She came out of the work well and I am happy with her," trainer
Beau Greely said.
IN CASE OF WIND - Karen and James Stone's In Case Of Wind had a slow
gallop Thursday morning at Trackside Training Center under exercise
rider Mark Fuchs.
"She wanted to do more, but she is going to breeze five-eighths
tomorrow," said trainer Bill Million, of the work slated for 7:30 with
Oaks rider Calvin Borel up for the move.
"This track can hold water, so if they seal it tonight, it
should be OK in the morning."
ISLAND FASHION - Everest Stable's Island Fashion jogged a mile under
exercise rider Andy Durnin after the renovation break Thursday morning.
"She is doing fantastic," trainer Nick Canani said. "Everything
is good. She will gallop in the morning if there is not too much rain."
LADY TAK - Heiligbrodt Racing Stable's Lady Tak, winner of the Fair
Grounds Oaks (GII) and runner-up in the Ashland (GI), visited the
starting gate and galloped a mile under exercise rider Lisa Orn.
Trainer Steve Asmussen announced on Wednesday that Jerry Bailey
would ride Lady Tak in the Kentucky Oaks. The mount was awarded to
Bailey because of concerns that regular rider Donnie Meche would not be
available because of a racing issue involving Meche that is being
considered in Louisiana.
MY BOSTON GAL - Chester Porter, Phil Milner and Randall Bloch's winner
of the Golden Rod (GII) and Stonerside Beaumont walked on Thursday. She
is expected to gallop on Friday.
MY TRUSTY CAT - Carl Pollard's My Trusty Cat was on the track for a
gallop under exercise rider Jeff Cuddie before 6 o'clock Thursday
morning.
The Tale of the Cat filly is slated to work Sunday.
SANTA CATARINA/ATLANTIC OCEAN - Trainer Bob Baffert said his pair of
Kentucky Oaks contenders - Robert and Beverly Lewis' Santa Catarina and
The Thoroughbred Corporation's Atlantic Ocean - galloped on Thursday.
Gary Stevens will ride Santa Catarina in the Oaks, while David
Flores is scheduled to ride Atlantic Ocean.
