Stronach Stable's Ghostzapper, the reigning 2004 "Horse of the
Year" and winner of the Breeders' Cup Classic (GI), breezed a half-mile

a sinus infection that knocked him out of his planned season debut in
the Oaklawn Handicap (GII).
High Fly and Noble Causeway each had easy half-mile moves in
their first serious works since their arrival at Churchill Downs last
week. Florida Derby winner High Fly covered the distance over a "fast"
track in :51.60 while Noble Causeway breezed his four furlongs in
:50.60.
B. Wayne Hughes' Greeley’s Galaxy, a 9 ˝-length winner of last
week's Illinois Derby, zipped over the track as he breezed four furlongs
in :47.60. The move was the fastest half-mile work of 28 at the
distance. The son of Mr. Greeley is not nominated to the Kentucky Derby
and Visa Triple Crown, but Hughes plans to pay a fee of $200,000 to make
the colt a supplemental nominee.
