Kentucky Derby Web Site Offers Free Podcasts, mp3's Of Derby 132 Information And Analysis

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (March 30, 2006) - Racing fans that are eagerly looking forward to the 132nd renewal of the Kentucky Derby presented by Yum! Brands may enjoy easy access to information and analysis on America's greatest race via free audio and video podcasts and MP3 recordings available for download from www.kentuckyderby.com, the official Web site of the famed "Run for the Roses."

That information and analysis is available on the Kentucky Derby Podcasting page at www.kentuckyderby.com by clicking on the "Derby Podcasts" link on the left side of the home page. Fans that visit the Kentucky Derby Podcasting page have the option of obtaining podcasts of key Derby information - including step-by-step instructions on subscribing to those podcasts via iTunes - or to use links on the page for immediate downloads of MP3 audio files of those reports and analysis.

Kentucky Derby information offered in the free podcasts or MP3 recordings that are available at include:

  • The Kentucky Derby Trail - includes video and audio of weekly pre-race analysis of important Kentucky Derby prep races and other news from Churchill Downs' analysts Steve Fugitte, Jill Byrne and Joel Cunningham. The pre-race podcasts and MP3's broadcasts of "The Kentucky Derby Trail" is available on Thursday of each week leading up to Derby 132.     The 2006 running of the Kentucky Derby is scheduled for Saturday, May 6 at Churchill Downs.
