CAT THIEF: pressed pace 3-wide, gained lead, gamely in drive. PRIME TIMBER: made run 5-wide 1/4 pole, forced out final 1/16, no late gain. EXCELLENT MEETING: outrun to stretch, made a mild steady gain 7 wide. KIMBERLITE PIPE: within striking distance, loomed in final 1/8, forced out late. WORLDLY MANNER: stalked leaders 4-wide, gained even terms for lead 1mi. weakened. K ONE KING: outrun to stretch, passed tired ones. LEMON DROP KID: outrun to stretch, improved position, 8-wide in drive.ANSWER LIVELY: well placed between foes for 1 mile,steadied both turns,weakened. GENERAL CHALLENGE: jolted soundly after start, raced in traffic. ECTON PARK: leaned in bumped start, failed to reach contention. DESERT HERO: bumped, checked 1st turn,bumped again 1/4 pole. STEPHEN GOT EVEN: steadied, bumped foe 1st turn, in heavy traffic. VALHOL: gained lead, moved inside, pace to far turn, tired. FIRST AMERICAN: lunged out start, off slowly, rail bid backstretch, tired. ADONIS: bumped start, exchanged bumps repeatedly opening 1/4,tired, wide. VICAR: 6-7 wide throughout, failed to menace. THREE RING: bumped, steadied start, bumped repeatedly early.
