I don't know about you, but I thought the 21st running of The Grade III Palm Beach Stakes was one of the most exciting races of the current meeting. The eventual winner DUVEEN had to overcome traffic problems to gain the narrowest of victories over a game SOLDIER'S DANCER. DUVEEN, a son of HORSE CHESTNUT out of the STORM CAT mare CASANOVA STORM, is trained by Dale Romans and most likely will be seen in the coming weeks at either Keeneland or Churchill Downs.

Both the runner-up SOLDIER'S DANCER and the 3rd place finisher STORM IN MAY are locally based runners. We'll keep tabs on where their connections are heading next.
