Caroline is from Charlotte, North Carolina and is now working for the Charlotte Regional Sports Commission as Marketing Coordinator/Office Manager. She earned her Masters in Sports Administration from the University of Louisville in 2007 and a Bachelor's Degree from Appalachian State University in 2005 where she played Division I Field Hockey.
Her love for sports and horses led her to Louisville to pursue a graduate degree. While at the University of Louisville, Caroline worked at Churchill Downs as a Web Marketing Intern for KentuckyDerby.com and KentuckyOaks.com. This will be her 3rd Derby, but she has been closely involved with horses since the age of 10 when she started riding as a hunter/jumper.
