I want to know what you love most about the Kentucky Derby. Please send me a note with your favorite aspect of the experience overall (For example, the celebrities, the Mint Juleps, shopping for a hat, Millionaire's Row, the infield experience), and how??

Waiting in the line at the ATM, it's amazing the conversations you may share or the things you may see. Today at Churchill Downs, my visit to the ATM drew much insight into life and the experience of a casual race fan... perhaps even a core race fan to some degree.

I look to the sky and think clouds can't be seen for miles.
Sure enough the wind started to blow,
And the whites of the leaves began to show.

The horses continue to walk through the paddock,
And Churchill Downs simulcast broadcasts without static.
It is evident that people will not give up
