Final Tab and a Derby Stab

Your bloggist signs off here. 'Twas a fun run, and that was because all of you got into the game. Thanks for that.
This is horse racing, so you've got to have an opinion. They don't run the ponies in Switzerland. You've got to say who you like.

So it's Colonel John. He'll win it. For all the obvious reasons you've been reading about for the past several weeks. Amen.

Who might you put around him if you're thinking exotics? How about Visionaire, Cowboy Cal, Bob Black Jack and Pyro. Well, why not?

Go get 'em. Much good luck. May we all get to chase the prize again next year. And don't forget to bet on the winner.

Good luck today, Mac.

Colonel John is in my top 2, along with BB.

Cannot toss either no matter how I try.

Will play those 2 over and underneath with a host of others at good value and
hope something works out $$$.

Denis of Cork seems to be a live longshot, and Jones should have 8 Belles ready to go.
Gayego, Pyro (cannot use Pyro for a win). Court Vision may be coming late as well. Has looked good in blinkers. BBJ may be setting pace, and is gutsy, but BB will probably run that one off of his feet (if BBJ gets the lead and likes track).

Big Brown wins and goes on the win Preakness and set up for Belmont.
