Pedigree Analysis

The analysis of Tomcito's pedigree does not require any theoretical projection of stamina, for he has already proven his ability to stay as far as 1 1/2 miles when racing in Peru. In his case, a perusal of the bloodlines helps to reveal the sources of his marathon capacity. His sire, the Grade/Group 1 star Street Cry (Ire), romped by 4 1/4 lengths in the 1 1/4-mile Dubai World Cup (UAE-G1) in 2002. The Mr. Prospector-line stallion has gotten off to a terrific start at stud, siring champion Street Sense, last year's Kentucky Derby and Travers S. (G1) hero, in his very first crop.
