04/09 10:26 amDesert Party, a very nice horse got beat by a "younger" horse (Regal Ransom's only a 2 year old)who's STILL learning, and learn he did by being kept to the task by Alan Garcia to win the UAE Derby holding off Desert Party. That speaks VOLUMES to me!! Is Regal Ransom better than Desert Party? I think they're both great!! If Garcia maintains the mount, hopefully a more educated Regal Ransom will repeat his performance. You know, sooner or later ,Godolphin's gonna take the Roses home, it could be this year , and why not, they've been working at their Churchill Downs replica for years . It's not a cutout of Churchill Downs, it's an EXACT replica(if you don't include the heat during the day,Ha!).Hope to see Friesan Fire or Regal Ransom make an exciting May 2nd in Louisville.
