Pedigree

I Want Revenge's pedigree is laced with stamina on both top and bottom. He is by millionaire Stephen Got Even, a son of 1992 Horse of the Year A.P. Indy and grandson of 1977 Triple Crown legend Seattle Slew. Stephen Got Even captured the GalleryFurniture.com S. (G2), now known as the Lane's End S. (G2), at Turfway Park in just his fourth career start. In the wake of that effort, he went postward as the 5-1 second choice in the 1999 Kentucky Derby (G1), where he was bumped on the first turn and eventually finished 14th.

Starter Analysis

Wood Memorial S. (G1) hero overcame a horrible start and traffic in the lane to storm home at Aqueduct, his second straight impressive showing since switching to dirt for conditioner Jeff Mullins. I Want Revenge is the deserving morning-line favorite and is bred top and bottom to excel at this lengthy trip, and a repeat of his last pair will make him a prime threat in the Kentucky Derby.

that beautiful race he had was indeed a memorable one that had do be seen mulitple times. But that race is also whats makeing fans, we are forgetting that he got demolished my pioneer 10 lenghts , and i just cant play a horse for champ honors that lost my that much. Id say he's second or third, quality road is the actual winner

This horse has every thing you want going into KD 2009.TALAMO can place this horse anywhere he wants, should be looming large turning for home.Lack of pace sets up for the stalkers, like pioneer and quality road to fight it out for second.THIS HORSE GAVE ME GOOSE BUMPS IN THE WOOD! CAN YOU SAY SERIOUS HAND RIDE! also like pedigree to get all three races. If there is one horse that could win all three it is thi ONE!

I think I Want Revenge is a talented horse, no doubt BUT I don't like the owner (IEAH - Iaverone).. Although he isn't the trainer, Dutrow and Iaverone talked way too much trash with Big Brown... I will go for Dunkirk because his story is cool and i like Freisen Fire as well!

We miss Curlin

They took him of the synthetic surface and he became a Monster. Has all the right running qualities you want to see in a Derby Horse and deserves to be the Tentative Favorite over his Nemesis 'Nile'
He and Dunkirk have shown the ability to overcome huge adversities and obstacles in a race. Time will tell
