Dutrow, Jr was victorious in the 2008 Kentucky Derby with dominant runner Big Brown. Top runners in 2010 included: Court Vision, D’Funnybone, Acting Happy, and Kentucky Derby 137 contender Boys At Tosconova winner of the Grade I Hopeful Stakes and runner-up in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile.Richard got his start in the industry by going to his father’s barn, the late Dick Dutrow, as a young child along with his brothers Tony and Chip. At age 16, he worked for his father as an assistant trainer.

Leparoux won the Eclipse Award in 2005 for Outstanding Apprentice Jockey and then in 2009 for Outstanding Jockey and has had four mounts in the Kentucky Derby; his best finish was a fifth in 2006 with Sedgefield.  He took home the Shoemaker Award in 2009 at the Breeders’ Cup by winning three races, the Juvenile Fillies with She Be Wild, the Dirt Mile with Furthest Land, and the Filly and Mare Turf on Informed Decision.
