Born September 17, 1963 in London, England. Feel in love with horse racing as a young boy and began riding horses at 13. On school holidays would work for trainers Brian Swift and Jeremy Tree. Gave up a chance to attend famed Cambridge University in order to further his racing career. Worked for trainer John Dunlop in the 1980s and later John Godsend for five years, three years spent in California. In 1993 Noseda went to work for Sheikh Mohammed’s Godolphin operation. Worked alongside Saeed bin Suroor, the top trainer for Godolphin.

Leparoux won the Eclipse Award in 2005 for Outstanding Apprentice Jockey and then in 2009 for Outstanding Jockey and has had four mounts in the Kentucky Derby; his best finish was a fifth in 2006 with Sedgefield. He took home the Shoemaker Award in 2009 at the Breeders’ Cup by winning three races, the Juvenile Fillies with She Be Wild, the Dirt Mile with Furthest Land, and the Filly and Mare Turf on Informed Decision.
