Dogwood Stable (Cot Campbell)

Dogwood Stable was founded in Aiken, South Carolina in 1973 by Cot Campbell to allow people to participate in the racing world at an affordable cost. Dogwood Stables has had more than 75 stakes winners, six Kentucky Derby appearances, a Preakness winner with Summer Squall, six runners that were millionaires, and a Breeders’ Cup victory in 1996 with Storm Song. Dogwood Stables has won two Eclipse Awards with Inlander for Champion Steeplechase and with Storm Song as Outstanding Juvenile Filly. Top horses that have raced under Dogwood Stables banner include: Limehouse, Cotton Blossom, Trippi, and Smoke’n Frolic.
