Tom Proctor

Trainer

Tom Proctor is the son of the late Willard Proctor, a renowned trainer, who trained more than 70 stakes winners.  Willard trained for Glen Hill Farm until Tom took over. Tom's brother, Hap, manages the farm.

Glen Hill Farm

Owner

Glen Hill Farm is owned by Loenard H. Lavin, who founded the farm in 1966.  Glen Hill Farm has raced over 80 stakes winners. Lavin owns a small Chicago-based regional maker of beauty supplies in 1955 and parlayed it into the Alberto-Culver Company, an international Fortune 1000 company that produces and markets well-known consumer brands in the toiletry, household, and food fields. Lavin has won awards and honors for his philanthropic, civic, and business endeavors. After Hurricane Katrina hit, the Lavin Family Foundation and Alberto-Culver made sizable donations to Tulane University and to hurricane victims.
