Horse Greeley-Orchids Halo, by Smoke Glacken

Download Full Pedigree (PDF)

Go Greeley's pedigree is oriented toward speed.

He is from the second crop of Horse Greeley, who won the seven-furlong Del Mar Futurity in 2006. The son of classy sprinter Mr. Greeley concluded his brief career with a third in the 2007 Malibu at the same trip.

Horse Greeley's first crop was highlighted by a pair of sprinters -- Clearly Now, winner of the 2013 Bold Ruler and Swale, and Really Mr Greely, successful in the 2012 Hollywood Prevue.

Go Greeley was produced by Orchids Halo, a daughter of 1997 champion sprinter Smoke Glacken and Grade 1 sprinter Devil's Orchid.

Smoke Glacken's leading performers include 2013 Apple Blossom heroine On Fire Baby; multiple Grade 2-winning millionaire Smok'n Frolic (dam of 2012 Canadian champion older male Hunters Bay); multiple Grade 2-winning sire Read the Footnotes; 2007 Spinaway scorer Irish Smoke; and Persistently, an atypical daughter of her speedy sire in that she won the 1 1/4-mile Personal Ensign in 2010.

Devil's Orchid won five stakes, chief among them the 1991 Santa Monica, Distaff Handicap and Bed O'Roses, and compiled a record of 23-10-6-4, $604,521. She has produced Unification, who won the 2005 Grey, and stakes-winning sprinter Mountain Orchid.
