Starlight, Coolmore offer sweepstakes for Eclipse Award tickets

Starlight Racing and Coolmore's Tabor, Magnier and Smith are pleased to announce a sweepstakes to send a lucky winner to the 2012 Eclipse Awards. By visiting and "liking" Starlight's Facebook page, fans can complete an entry form for a chance to win two tickets to the 42nd annual Eclipse Awards on January 19 at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Florida.

Starlight and Tabor, Magnier and Smith's undefeated Breeders' Cup Juvenile champion Shanghai Bobby was named a finalist for the two-year-old male category on Saturday.

"We have been fortunate to achieve some success with Shanghai Bobby, and we wanted to create an event to share our excitement with his fans and give back to the industry," said Jack Wolf, managing partner of Starlight Racing.

The tickets also include backstage access at the Eclipse Awards for a portion of the event and admission to the Eclipse-eve "Celebration of the Thoroughbred" cocktail party on January 18 at Gulfstream Park. This event will benefit Gulfstream Park's Thoroughbred Aftercare Program and will be highlighted by live, silent and online auctions featuring breeding opportunities, travel packages, and the art of award-winning photographer Barbara Livingston.
