Trainer
Larry Jones trained 2011 Horse of the Year Havre De Grace who among other accomplishments defeated the males in the G-1 Woodward Stakes. Jones returned to training after a brief retirement and has picked right back up with a strong stable of stakes contenders. A native of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, has had success in the Kentucky Oaks with Proud Spell scoring a victory in 2008.

Porter became interested in racing after attending races at Delaware Park as a youth. He named his racing stable Fox Hill Farms after a home he purchased in Delaware in 1989. Fox Hill Farms has had two second place finishers in the Kentucky Derby with Hard Spun and Eight Belles in 2007 and 2008 respectively. Other top runners include Friesan Fire, Old Fashioned, and Rockport Harbor.
