Lady Banks is out of multiple Grade 2-winning sprinter Successful Appeal out of the Housebuster mare House of Soviet’s.

While he was a top notch sprinter on track, Successful Appeal has sired such prosperous routers as multiple Grade 2 winners Successful Dan and Dawn After Dawn.

House of Soviet’s wasn’t a success on track, dropping all three of her starts, but in addition to Lady Banks has foaled stakes-placed Excessively Nice and the dam of Grade 1-placed Toro Bonito.

More notable is that House of Soviet’s is herself a daughter of dual Grade 3 heroine Soviet Sojourn, making her a half-sister to Grade 1-winning top sire Indian Charlie, who ran third in the 1998 Kentucky Derby.
