Mike’s interest in racing began when his grandparents would take him to Turf Paradise as a child growing up.At 20 years old, he became a trainer and had a small stable in Arizona for five years.Then Mike moved to California to work for Walter Greenman, a well known West Coast horsemen, as his assistant trainer.In 1995, he became the private trainer for Cobra Farm in Kentucky where he developed stakes winner and Kentucky Derby hopeful Cobra King.Mike opened a public stable in 2002.
