Street Sense--Unlimited Pleasure, by Valid Appeal

Champion Street Sense was the first BC Juvenile winner to go on and take the Kentucky Derby as a three-year-old, and the dark bay is already gaining notice in the breeding shed having produced multiple stakes winners from just two crops to race.

One of those stakes winners is Grade 2 winner Unlimited Budget, who is the third graded scorer for her sire. Street Sense is also responsible for Grade 3 victors Castaway and Motor City.

Street Sense captured five graded events himself while in competition and placed in that same number, including the Preakness. In addition to the Derby and BC Juvenile, he also scored in the Grade 1 Travers.

Unlimited Budget’s dam, the Valid Appeal mare Unlimited Pleasure, never achieved that kind of success on track, but did place in one of her two stakes tries.

Unlimited Pleasure has done much better as a broodmare, producing Grade 3-winning full siblings Beacon Shine and Jardin as well as Unlimited Budget.

Unlimited Pleasure is herself a half-sister to Grade 1 winner Outofthebox and stakes hero Ruff and Ready, and this female family also includes multiple Grade 1-winning sire Mighty Appealing and dual Grade 2 king Tackleberry.
