Trainer

John Sadler’s first starter in the Kentucky Derby was in 1993 with Corby. In 2010, he had two starters in the Run for the Roses in Line of David and Sidney’s Candy who both finished off the board. John has won training titles at Hollywood Park, Santa Anita, Del Mar, and Oak Tree at Santa Anita. He rode show horses growing up, but began his career at the racetrack in high school.

In 2005, they attained a Kentucky Derby victory with Giacomo. They are the owners of the beloved mare, Zenyatta, who won 19 of her 20 races and was named 2010 Horse of the Year. Jerry Moss co-founded A&M Records and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006.
