Chef, world traveler & culinary adventurer

Ralph is the vice president of hospitality and the executive chef for Gulfstream Park Racing Casino located in Hallandale Beach, Florida.  A life-long horse enthusiast and non-professional “handicapper", Ralph has his dream job.  His 1,000 seat restaurant, Ten Palms, is a modern American trackside kitchen & stone crab parlor.  It is a feast for the eyes and the mouth. Pagano also manages “Sport of Kings” at Gulfstream, a ballroom and banquet facility which can accommodate up to 800 guests. Add on 15 bars and 10 unique concept concession and international street food stands, and you can see how Ralph keeps busy creating and developing great food and drink for hungry and thirsty crowds.  He makes sure having a good time is a sure thing at gulfstream park!

Pagano’s signature style is taking classic dishes and remixing them.  Using a cache of international spices, combining Italian style and classic French technique, Pagano creates what he calls “vacation cuisine.”

Ralph is the host of the award-winning television show on the Travel Channel, “Pressure Cook,”.  In this travel-meets-cooking show, Ralph is dropped at an undisclosed location where he must use his culinary wit and unique charm to earn him enough money to buy his plane ticket home to the U.S..

No stranger to TV, chef Pagano has successfully gone to hell and back with Gordon

Ramsay in Hell’s Kitchen and has fought the “Battle Barramundi” versus Bobby Flay on Iron Chef America.  National appearances on Good Morning America, the Today Show and the CBS Early Show  round out Ralph’s TV resume.  He has gained noteworthy accolades with his executive chef roles at New York City’s West Broadway restaurant, Bobby Van’s Steakhouse and as both owner and chef of the World Pie Restaurant Group.

Ralph calls Miami home and lives with his wife, who also likes to eat, drink and be merry.
