Our Downs After Dark night racing events are the best parties in town during the spring, summer and fall. The races are even more thrilling under the stars and lights of Churchill Downs, the entertainment adds rhythm and dancing and the signature drinks are delicious. Add a fun theme for each event and a dress to impress attitude it's an evening like no other. This year, we're making Downs After Dark more exciting by introducing a new Guest Chef Series @ Millionaire's Row.
On Saturday, June 17 chef Anthony Lamas of Seviche: A Latin Restaurant will cook a menu he specifically designed to match the evening's South Beach theme. Lamas has cooked at the James Beard House five times and has been a James Beard Foundation semifinalist for "Best Chef: Southeast" award multiple times. According to Esquire, "Seviche has emerged as one of America's best and most innovative Nuevo Latino restaurants with plenty of the chef's personality in every dish. If you have time for one meal in Louisville, make it Seviche." Well for one night only you can also enjoy Lamas' cooking at Churchill Downs.
