Art Collector Contender Profile

Art Collector would have broken his maiden (won his first race) exactly one year ago come Kentucky Derby day in 2020. He won at Kentucky Downs on September 5, 2019 - what a celebration of career achievement if he can cross the wire first on September 5, 2020! His connections are well known horsemen in the racing community, but maybe not be as used to spotlight that presents Tom Drury, Bruce Lundsford and connections this year.

On a roll of several wins, with strong performances in the Blue Grass and Ellis Park Derby, his pedigree of Bernardini and Distorted Legacy shows he may be able to hit the distance in a competitive finish if form holds for Art Collector. Distorted Legacy was a well seasoned filly and mare who ran in strong races.

PRO Blue Grass hero has employed a variety of running styles at Churchill.
CON Derby will mark his first try in Grade 1 company.
