Major General got the ball rolling for the 2022 Road to the Kentucky Derby series by winning the Iroquois (G3) at Churchill Downs. Starting the race on the back of winning his debut at Saratoga, the son of Constitution bravely held off a wall of challengers in the Iroquois. From the family of 1998 Ashland (G1) winner Well Chosen, Major General is raced by WinStar Farm and Siena Farm and will be one of the contenders Todd Pletcher looks to in his quest for a third Kentucky Derby (G1) winner.
