The acclaimed Chilean winery Haras will sponsor the Taste of Derby, offering pairings at each chef station chosen by the winery from their portfolio of Haras Estate wines. In addition, winery owner Eduardo B. Matte will personally present wines from the winery’s vintage collection, including the award-winning Albis red blend, at their specialty station.

Located in the scenic foothills of the Andes, the 1,480 acre estate is home to a legendary Thoroughbred breeding farm and some of the best vineyards in South America.

"Haras’s unique identity as a world-renowned producer of both thoroughbred horses and first-class wines makes it a perfect fit as a sponsor of this great event," said Matte. "We are excited to bring together our two passions and share them with horse and wine lovers in Louisville."

Haras wines are distributed in the United States by Ste. Michelle Wine Estates.

Partial proceeds will benefit Dare to Care Food Bank and the United Nations World Food Programme.

A limited number of General Admission ($250), VIP ($350) and Reserved Tables ($4,000) are still available for sale at www.TasteofDerby.com or 1-800-28-DERBY.
