Grabbing the early lead on a track that was favoring front runners, Leave the Light On went all the way in Saturday's Grade 2, $500,000 Remsen at Aqueduct.

The Chad Brown trainee turned back a prolonged challenge from 9-5 favorite Frosted, who endured a wide trip throughout from post 13 and came up a half-length short.

Leave the Light On finished 1 1/8 miles on the fast track in 1:51 and paid $15.60 to win.

Owned by Klaravich Stables and William Lawrence, Leave the Light On earned 10 points toward the Kentucky Derby.

Frosted registered four Derby points for his terrific effort in defeat. Keen Ice also deserves extra credit for closing well for third, good for two points, and Classy Class takes home a point for finishing fourth.
