Despite stumbling leaving the gate and trailing for much of Saturday's $250,000 Withers (G3) at Aqueduct, Far From Over (Blame) refused to be beaten in the 1 1/16-mile inner dirt test.

Conceding as much as 10 1/2 lengths down the backside, Black Rock Thoroughbreds' three-year-old turned in a sustained rally in the final quarter-mile to win going away by 1 3/4 lengths as the 6-1 third choice in a field of six. Trained by Todd Pletcher, Far From Over paid $14.40 after completing 1 1/16 miles on a fast track in 1:43 4/5. He also earned 10 points in the Road to the Kentucky Derby series.
