Maybellene (Looking at Lucky) finished second by a neck to stablemate Callback (Street Sense) in the $200,240 Sunland Park Oaks, but ended up inheriting the victory on Sunday after her barnmate was disqualified for interfering with pacesetter Fancy and Flashy (Zensational).

The duo are both trained by Bob Baffert, and Maybellene earned 50 points toward a starting berth in the May 1 Kentucky Oaks (G1) with the win, which was also her first stakes score.

Scat Means Go (Scat Daddy) got up to take third over Fancy and Flashy, but was elevated to second while Fancy and Flashy got the show spot. They garnered 20 and 10 points, respectively, while Callback was placed fourth and only received 5.

However, neither Scat Means Go nor Fancy and Flashy are nominated to the 1 1/8-mile affair.
