Charred Broccoli Salad Recipe


Ingredients:
  • 2 cups Broccoli Florets
  • ¼ cup Olive Oil 
  • ½ Tsp Red Chili Flakes
  • 2 cups Charred Broccoli Florets 
  • ¼ cup Bacon Pieces, Cooked 
  • ¼ cup Dried Cranberries 
  • ¼ cup Slivered Almonds, Toasted 
  • ¼ cup Local Honey
  • ¼ cup Olive Oil
  • ½ cup Apple Cider Vinegar    
  • ¼ tsp Kosher Salt 
  • ¼ tsp Black Pepper
Preparation: 
  1. Preheat grill to medium-high (400°F to 450°F). Lightly oil the grill grates.
  2. Toss together broccoli, olive oil, and chili flakes in a medium bowl. Place vegetables on grates, and grill, uncovered, until charred on all sides, 3-4 minutes. 
  3. Remove from grill, and let cool 10 minutes. 
  4. Whisk together apple cider vinegar, olive oil, honey, in a large bowl. 
  5. Add charred broccoli, bacon pieces, dried cranberries, almonds and salt and pepper; toss to combine. 
  6. Pile high in the center of the appropriate plate.
  7. Serve immediately
