Kentucky Derby Trophy Collection

| Brisnet Editorial | 03/09/2011 #

Churchill Downs, in conjunction with New England Sterling, the official manufacturer of the Kentucky Derby Trophy, introduced the Kentucky Derby Trophy Collection in November 2010. This exciting new program was launched just before the end of the 2010 racing season and was showcased in the Turf Club foyer.

Already receiving rave reviews, the Kentucky Derby Trophy Collection is a hit amongst spectators and horse owners alike. These items are the perfect accessory for your Derby Day attire and will be a jewelry item that will be treasured for its uniqueness and collectability for years to come.

New England Sterling has been making the Kentucky Derby Winner’s Trophy for 35 years. The Winner’s Trophy is made of 14k gold and part of the natural manufacturing process of the trophy results in a certain amount of excess material; it is this excess material that is being used to create the product offering for the Kentucky Derby Trophy Collection program.

The Kentucky Derby Trophy Collection offers a unique opportunity to purchase select jewelry items featuring 14k gold replicas of the highly coveted Kentucky Derby Winner’s Trophy. It is exclusively through this program that the true Kentucky Derby enthusiast can own a piece of jewelry that not only contains 14k gold from the actual winner’s trophy but also captures the spirit and history of the Kentucky Derby.

The items that comprise the collection include a necklace, pendant, hat pin, key tag, money clip, cufflinks, lapel pin, tie tac and charm bracelet. The charm bracelet has been designed to accommodate future emblem collectables of the Kentucky Derby Trophy Collection. Each item comes packaged in a gift box with a black jewelry pouch and a certificate of authenticity.

There is only a certain amount of gold available for this program, hence quantities are very limited and once all of the replicas have been sold the program will be closed. Visiting KentuckyDerbyTrophyCollection.com is the only way to order one of these unique items. Once you arrive at the site click on collection and enter, Trophy2011; this will provide the access to view and order the collection on-line.
