Pimenton Crusted KC Strip Steak

Serves 8


  • 8 pieces Kansas City strip steaks
  • 10-12oz per steak
  • ¼ cup Spanish olive oil, split in half
  • 2 tablespoons pimenton
  • 2 tablespoons Kent Rathbun Elements Steak & Chop GarlicSalt


  1. Place steaks on a cookie sheet or sheet pan, cover with olive oil and rub until steaks are completely coated
  2. Season evenly with pimenton and Kent Rathbun ElementsSteak & Chop Garlic Salt
  3. Cook steaks on a hot wood grill or charbroiler until desired temperature is reached. I suggest medium rare
  4. Baste steaks with remaining Spanish olive oil for better flavor and a beautiful shiny presentation


Steak can be served whole or sliced. A great accompaniment is Creamy Piquillo Cauliflower andSaffron Salted Padrons.
