Pedigree

Daisy Devine is a daughter of dual Grade 2 winner and Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1) runner-up Kafwain

Kafwain ranked 10th on the 2007 Leading First-Crop Sires list

The stallion’s top-rated progeny include Grade 3 winners The Pamplemousse, Don’t Forget Gil and Massive Drama

Daisy Devine was produced by Devil’s Dispute (Devil’s Bag)

Devil’s Dispute is herself out of Grade 2 victress Impetuous Gal (Briartic), making her a half-sister to three-time Grade 1 queen Banker’s Lady (Nijinsky II)

Banker’s Lady would go on in the breeding shed to foal dual Grade 2 hero Banker’s Gold (Forty Niner), runner-up in the 1998 runnings of the Met Mile (G1) and Carter H. (G1)

Impetuous Gal also produced the dam of 1999 Super Derby (G1) star Ecton Park (Forty Niner)

Daisy Devine’s dam sire is Devil’s Bag (Halo), the 1983 champion two-year-old colt and winner of that year’s Champagne S. (G1) and Laurel Futurity (G1)

Other daughters of Devil’s Bag have produced the likes of Grade 1 king Balto Star (Glitterman), who captured the 2001 Arkansas Derby (G2) and Sprial S. (G2), as well as this year’s Kentucky Oaks (G1) contender Kathmanblu (Bluegrass Cat)

His progeny includes successful sire and five-time Grade 1 winner Devil His Due
