The Survivors Parade

The 9th annual Survivors Parade took place this year on the turf course at historic Churchill Downs during the 142 Longines Kentucky Oaks on May 5, 2017, the day before the Kentucky Derby presented by Yum! Brands. 143 breast and ovarian cancer survivors were selected through a public online process to champion breast and ovarian health awareness in the Parade.  The Parade is a special way to honor those who have been impacted by breast and ovarian cancer and help drive national awareness of the importance of prevention and early detection.
