Top Decile, a half-length second in both the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies and Alcibiades last fall, kicks off her sophomore campaign in the $125,000 Silverbulletday for three-year-old fillies at Fair Grounds on Saturday. Contested over one mile and 70 yards, the Silverbulletday is a prelude to the $150,000 Rachel Alexandra on February 21 and $300,000 Fair Grounds Oaks on March 28.

Arguably a length (or less) removed from a juvenile filly championship, Top Decile had to settle for runner-up honors behind Take Charge Brandi in the Breeders' Cup and to Peace and War in the Alcibiades. Top Decile was likely hurt by the speed-favoring nature of Santa Anita's main track last time, and figures stronger on a fair-playing strip.

The Silverbulletday has come up an outstanding race with undefeated Golden Rod winner West Coast Belle also in the mix. The Wayne Catalano trainee improved her mark to three-for-three with a 1 1/4-length victory in Churchill's leading race for juvenile fillies November 29.

Forever Unbridled, a last-out maiden winner for Dallas Stewart, is a daughter of Kentucky Oaks winner Lemons Forever and should continue to improve. The field's depth is enhanced by the entries of Zooming and Money'soncharlotte, stakes winners at Delta Downs and Gulfstream Park West, respectively, and the undefeated turf allowance winner Divine Dawn.
