Who is Albus?

Albus is a fascinating pedigree riddle. His sire, Yaupon, is a pure sprinting stallion , his progeny win at an average of just 6.2 furlongs, the lowest rate of any sire represented in this field , yet Albus just became the first of Yaupon's offspring to win a stakes race beyond 1 1/16 miles, rallying from eighth at the Wood Memorial.
