Chief Wallabee has raced three times so far. On Jan. 10, 2026, he won his first race at Gulfstream Park in a 7-furlong maiden race on fast dirt by 1/2 lengths at 5-2 odds with jockey Junior Alvarado. Then on February 28, 2026, he competed in a more important stakes race at Gulfstream Park over 1 1/16 miles on fast dirt, finishing a very close second by just a nose at 5-2 odds. Most recently, he finished third in the Florida Derby (G1) at Gulfstream Park on March 28, a major prep for the Kentucky Derby.
