Trainer Eniel Cordero’s first graded stakes placegetter could yet become his first Kentucky Derby runner as well.

Cordero prepares Le Dom Bro, a $20,000 purchase from the OBS Winter 2022 mixed bloodstock sale. Bred by Teneri Farms, Le Dom Bro is raced by Vicente Stella Stables.

Le Dom Bro is by Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1) winner Mucho Macho Man, whose best runner to date has been Pegasus World Cup (G1) winner Mucho Gusto. His dam is the Peruvian-bred Valiant Emilia, a Grade 3 winner over 1 1/4 miles in her home country.

Given the stamina shown by his sire and dam, Le Dom Bro should have what it takes to stay the Kentucky Derby trip. Time will tell if he has the class required.
