Overview

Nash looks to be among the horses bidding to give global equine force Godolphin an elusive first Kentucky Derby this year.

A homebred for Sheikh Mohammed’s international operation, Nash is a son of the high-class sire Medaglia d’Oro, whose progeny have succeeded at a variety of distances and surfaces all around the world.

Nash’s dam Sara Louise, a three-time stakes winner by Malibu Moon, the sire of 2013 Kentucky Derby winner Orb. Sara Louise is also the dam of stakes performers Spa City and Sara Street, both by Street Sense.

Given the stamina shown by the progeny of Medaglia d’Oro and Malibu Moon, Nash could well be effective at the Kentucky Derby trip of 1 1/4 miles.
