Amo Racing’s Blanc de Blanc readily defeated males in Friday’s Patton at Dundalk, a scoring race on the Euro/Mideast Road to the Kentucky Derby. But the Kentucky-bred daughter of Not This Time is looking toward classic options in Europe, not Churchill Downs.

Favored in light of her debut score over this track and one-mile trip, the Robson de Aguiar pupil was more professional in this second start. Stablemate Flanker Jet sped forward to set the pace, while Blanc de Blanc was parked in second by jockey Donagh O’Connor. The filly crept closer down the stretch and soon pulled away by three lengths.

Blanc de Blanc, who returned $5.40 stateside, posted a final time of 1:37.91 on the Polytrack surface.

The Patton is worth points on the 20-10-6-4-2 format, but none of the entrants were nominated to the Triple Crown by the early deadline.

Whatchadoin crossed the wire in second, 3 1/4 lengths clear of Redemption Road. Flanker Jet faded to fourth, followed by Outlaw Man, first-time starter Power Strike, All the Girls, Echo of Faith, and Liberation Date.

Now 2-for-2, Blanc de Blanc is under consideration for a trio of fillies’ classics going a mile on turf – the 1000 Guineas (G1) at Newmarket on May 3, the French equivalent (the Poule d’Essai des Pouliches [G1]) on May 10, and the Irish 1000 Guineas (G1) May 24.

“She could go straight to a Guineas,” the owner’s representative, Ryan McElligott, told irishracing.com, adding that Blanc de Blanc might take in another prep race along the way.

“She is exciting, and (jockey) Donagh (O'Connor) was very happy. He was really pleased with how she galloped out through the line, so I think we have plenty to look forward to.”

Bred by DATTT Farm in the Bluegrass State, Blanc de Blanc sold for $575,000 as a Keeneland September yearling. The dark bay is out of Wonderful, a Galileo mare who is a full sister to 2013 Breeders’ Cup Turf (G1) hero Magician; Grade 3 victress Apple Betty; and Grade 1-placed stakes winner Outstanding, herself the dam (mother) of multiple Grade 2 scorer Masteroffoxhounds.

The Euro/Mideast Road concludes March 28 with the UAE Derby (G2) at Meydan, worth a bonanza of 100 points to the winner.
