Robert LaPenta and Madaket Stables’ My World earned 10 points on the 2026 Road to the Kentucky Derby challenge series following his two-length score in the $139,500 Jerome S. at Aqueduct on Jan. 3. The Brad Cox trainee negotiated the one-turn mile over a fast main surface in 1:38.96 under the guidance of Jaime Rodriguez.

Balboa, Enforced Agenda, and Freedom’s Echo concluded the order of finish in the compact field and picked up qualifying points on a 5-3-2 structure.

'This horse is still figuring things out. With each race, he's maturing mentally, but it's still like he's not completely there. You'll see every time he comes by a horse, he'll still want to lean in,” assistant trainer Dustin Dugas said. “Right now, he's doing things on raw ability. Even in the mornings, he still messes around. When he does focus, and you get down and start riding on him, he'll run on. He's a very talented little colt, but he can still get in his own way.'

My World was unveiled on Aug. 23 at Saratoga and checked in fourth in a six-furlong maiden special weight heat. He graduated second time out on Oct. 4 in a similar type of race at Aqueduct at the same distance, and he preceded his second stakes triumph with a comfortable tally in the Nashua S. at Aqueduct on Nov. 1. His lifetime line now reads 4-3-0-0, $217,750.

The son of Essential Quality was bred in the Bluegrass State by Cove Springs, LLC, and brought the gavel down at $350,000 at the 2024 Keeneland September Yearling Sale. He is the first black-type victor out of the stakes-winning Into Mischief mare Quebec.

My World has reeled off a trio of wins in succession and is two-for-two since moving to one mile. The colt has registered Brisnet Speed ratings of 89-89-83-89 from four career races to date and looks like the type of prospect that will move forward as the distances increase throughout the season. The $200,000 Withers S. at Aqueduct on Jan. 31 is his next possible target, according to his connections.
