A field of eight juvenile fillies will take to Santa Anita Park’s main track on Saturday as part of the $300,000 Chandelier Stakes (G1).

The 1 1/16-mile contest is not only part of the “Win & You’re In” Challenge series for the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) but will also award 10-4-2-1 points as the second race on the Road to the Kentucky Oaks schedule of points races.

The Chandelier is a West Coast affair, as every single entrant competed at Del Mar in her last start. Unbeaten Moonshine Memories headlines the group off a half-length victory in the Del Mar Debutante (G1). The Malibu Moon filly is trained by Simon Callaghan and keeps Flavien Prat in the saddle.

Piedi Bianchi will attempt to upset the apple cart for trainer Doug O’Neill. The Overanalyze filly was runner-up in the Del Mar Debutante one race after breaking her maiden in her second start by 1 1/4 lengths. Mario Gutierrez has the return call.

Dancing Belle and Just a Smidge filled out the respective fourth and fifth spots in the Del Mar Debutante. The former is still a maiden and entered that contest off a runner-up effort in the Sorrento Stakes (G2) while Just a Smidge broke her maiden in her career debut at Del Mar.

Kent Desormeaux rides Dancing Belle for his trainer brother Keith Desormeaux. Mike Smith takes the mount on Just a Smidge for conditioner Bob Baffert.

Alluring Star enters the Chandelier off a debut maiden win going 6 1/2 furlongs at Del Mar. Super Good will try the dirt for the first time here after missing by only a neck in her racing bow last out over Del Mar’s turf.

Terra’s Angel also ran on the turf most recently, capturing the Del Mar Juvenile Fillies Turf by a half-length, but was third in the Sorrento prior to that and broke her maiden on the main track at Lone Star Park in mid-May. The Drosselmeyer filly will give dirt another try in this spot.

Holy Diver, fifth in the Del Mar Juvenile Fillies Turf, rounds out the field.
