Ted Noffey capped an undefeated season and undoubtedly clinched championship honors as the country's top two-year-old colt of 2025, with a one-length tally in the $1.76 million Breeders' Cup Juvenile (G1) at Del Mar on Friday.

Dominant winner of the Hopeful (G1) and Breeders' Futurity (G1) earlier in the year, Ted Noffey is the first odds-on favorite to win the Juvenile since Chief's Crown won the inaugural edition in 1984.

A stalking second behind second choice Brant for much of the 1 1/16-mile journey, Ted Noffey seized control turning for home and was kept to task by jockey John Velazquez as Brant briefly re-rallied in deep stretch before petering out. Brant ultimately weakened to third, a half-length behind 20-1 chance Mr. A. P.

'The only thing he did a little bit was he idled really bad at the eighth pole, getting to that shadow between the building, and he kind of waited,' Velazquez said of Ted Noffey. 'After that, he passed the shadow, and the two horses came in, and he went back in and re-engaged again.'

The order of finish was rounded out by Litmus Test, Intrepido, and Comport in what was the smallest field in Juvenile history.

Owned by Spendthrift Farm and trained by Todd Pletcher, Ted Noffey covered the course in 1:42.25 over a fast track and paid $3.60.

Ted Noffey earned 30 qualifying points toward the 2026 Kentucky Derby (G1) and now has 40 in total. Ted Noffey closed as the 10-1 individual favorite in the first pool of the Kentucky Derby Future Wager, which closed before the Juvenile was run.

Mr. A. P. earned 15 Derby qualifying points, while Brant secured nine points. Litmus Test increased his total from three to nine points, and Intrepido bumped his total from 10 to 13 points.

A Kentucky-bred, Ted Noffey is a son of Into Mischief and the stakes-winning Streak of Luck, a daughter of Old Fashioned.

The $1.82 million Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) was won in wire-to-wire fashion by Super Corredora, who staved off a late bid from 3-2 favorite Explora to win by three parts of a length under Hector I. Barrios.

The Juvenile Fillies was the stakes debut for Super Corredora, who was exiting an 8 1/4-length maiden win at Santa Anita in her first two-turn try after losing twice sprinting at Del Mar over the summer.

'We took a little chance and wheeled her back in three weeks, and it worked out,' trainer John Sadler said.

Super Corredora paid $19.60 after covering 1 1/16 miles in 1:43.71. She is owned in partnership by Spartan Equine Racing, West Point Thoroughbreds, Robert Gardiner, and Michael Olszewski.

Finishing three lengths behind Explora was Percy's Bar, who was followed by Meaning, Tommy Jo, Bottle of Rouge, La Ville Lumiere, La Wally, and Iron Orchard.

Super Corredora earned 30 qualifying points toward the 2026 Kentucky Oaks (G1), while Explora increased her total from 10 to 25. Percy's Bar's total increased from five to 14 points, Meaning earned six points, and Tommy Jo earned three points to bring her total to 13.

A Kentucky-bred daughter of Gun Runner, Super Corredora was reared by Super Simple, a daughter of 2010 Kentucky Derby winner Super Saver.
