Zany is a chestnut filly born on March 24, 2023, in Kentucky. Trainer Todd A. Pletcher trains her for owner Repole Stable. This three-year-old has already won three of her four races—an impressive start to her racing career!

Her Family Tree

Zany's father is American Pharoah, one of the greatest racehorses ever. American Pharoah won the Triple Crown in 2015—he won the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, and Belmont Stakes in the same year! He earned $8.6 million and won nine of his eleven races. Her mother, Mo' Green, was also a racehorse winner. Uncle Mo, her maternal grandfather, was a Grade 1 champion. This gives Zany bloodlines from champions on both sides.
