The Ford First Turn Club Dining Room allows guests to enjoy the famous, media-worthy angle of the Kentucky Derby Walkover, where contenders and their connections parade along the track from the barn area to the Paddock prior to the big race. First Turn Club Dining guests can enjoy thunderous racing along the rail of the outdoor terrace directly in front of the dining room.

See and be seen at the famous Turf Club. Typically a members-only club during the race meet, this exclusive premium dining space features a party atmosphere with live entertainment, a bourbon bar, and an interactive Chef’s kitchen including a brick oven and gelato station. Two covered outdoor dining options include the Turf Club Balcony, facing the Paddock, and the Turf Terrace, facing the track.

Featuring the storied view of the Twin Spires, Champions Balcony & Loge are located on the 2nd level of the Paddock Plaza. This covered dining section overlooks the horses as they walk through the legendary Paddock.

Located near the iconic Kentucky Derby starting gate, our Starting Gate Pavilion Balcony offers a variety of new, comfortable dining options for your Oaks and Derby experience.

The Homestretch Club offers excellent views of the track in the key moment of the race as well as the Big Board; Enjoy indoor access to a private temperature-controlled club on the first level with ambient lighting and contemporary finishes; Take a break to place a wager, enjoy the Chef’s Table Buffet, and grab a drink from the 97’ bar, the longest bar in Kentucky. Further access to the Clubhouse offers additional race viewing options to complete this premium hospitality experience.

The Triple Crown Balcony is a covered outdoor dining space located within the Jockey Club Suite Tower. The Jockey Club Suites celebrates the excitement behind the sport of horseracing in a casual atmosphere positioned in the homestretch of the racetrack, perched directly beside the TwinSpires.

Skye Terrace offers three floors of interior dining space directly above the Clubhouse after the finish line. The elongated layout ensures that every dining guest is close to the windows facing the track and has easy access to the covered outdoor terrace for viewing. This nostalgic wing of Churchill Downs is adjacent to the iconic Millionaire’s Row.

Silks Balcony and Loge provides an elevated view of the Paddock in a covered open-air setting; This area offers both dining tables and box seats; Enjoy easy access to a dedicated race viewing location in our 3rd floor Clubhouse in Section 320.

The traditional Finish Line Suites offer a classic country club ambiance with deep wood tones and subdued lighting. This highly-coveted area is situated just above the Finish Line on the 5th Floor and offers two dining options, in addition to the Suites. The indoor Trophy Room provides TV-coverage of the races as well as access to viewing on the Finish Line Balcony. While outdoor covered tables on the Finish Line Balcony provide an open-air view from the fifth Floor of the TwinSpires.

This upscale open-concept dining area located within the Starting Gate Suite tower offers a modern experience for race viewing and provides indoor dining options for 8 guests.

Choose from a number of indoor dining options within the Jockey Club Tower, including the indoor Oaks Room, Derby Room, Grand Foyer, or the Triple Crown Room. The Jockey Club Suites celebrate the excitement behind the sport of horseracing in a casual atmosphere positioned in the homestretch of the racetrack, perched up beside the Twin Spires. The setting makes for fantastic photo opportunities both in the common areas, filled with natural light, and on the balconies, overlooking the Spires and the track.
