In partnership with the Community Foundation of Louisville, local nonprofit organizations will be invited to fundraise and highlight the work they do to make Louisville a more vibrant place to live, work and play.  By purchasing Winsday tickets through a registered nonprofit, guests will directly contribute to these vital agencies, with a portion of each ticket sale benefiting their incredible work.

EVENT DAY HIGHLIGHTS

CHARITY POST DRAW

• Just like the Derby Post Draw, but with a twist! On April 29, 2026, during the ‘Winsday’ race day, the Churchill Downs team will host a live drawing in which 20 of the 50 nonprofit participants will be randomly paired with a Kentucky Derby post position for the Kentucky Derby race on Saturday, May 2, 2026.
  • 1st Place: $20,000
  • 2nd Place: $15,000
  • 3rd Place: $10,000
  • 4th-20th Place: $2,500

SECOND CHANCE DRAWINGS

• Organizations that don’t make it into the “Starting Gate” will still have a shot at financial support with three opportunities to win $2,000 for their cause!

SUPPORTER DRAWINGS

• Boost Your Favorite Nonprofit! Every ticket purchased through registered nonprofits not only supports a great cause but also enters you into a special drawing. Seize one of four chances to unlock $2,000 for the nonprofit you champion!

TOP TICKET SELLER PRIZE

• The three organizations that sell the most tickets will receive additional cash prizes: $1,500 for first place, $1,000 for second, and $500 for third. These awards are independent of the other prize drawings.
