Our first of the Pacific Classic Entries 2025 is non other than Fierceness. He may not have snagged the title of the Pacific Classic morning line favorite, but he's definitely not too far behind. While taking a win in half of the 12 starts he's been in, Fierceness has ran three times this year with only one win at Churchill Downs in the Alysheba Stakes with his worst performance during the Kentucky Derby placing 15th last year.

His last start earned him a 5th place run at Sartoga during the Whitney Stakes (G1). Is this another come-back moment for Fierceness in this Pacific Classic field?

#2 Midnight Mammoth
Jockey | Armando Asyuso
Trainer | Craig Dollase

At post position #2 for the Pacific Classic Entries 2025 is Midnight Mammoth. A long career with a standing 37-8-5-7 record beginning in 2021, shows that there could be a potential win in it for Midnight Mammoth.

The last time out at Del Mar, Midnight Mammoth snagged a win with the Cougar II Stakes (G2), and have had a couple favorable races at Saratoga, including a 2nd place spot in the Hollywood Gold Cup Stakes (G2). How does Midnight Mammoth stack up against the rest of the Pacific Classic field?

#3 Ultimate Gamble
Jockey | Kazushi Kimura
Trainer | Mark Glatt

Will you take the Ultimate Gamble this Labor Day weekend? At post position #3 for the Pacific Classic Entries 2025 is Ultimate Gamble. This will be the first stakes race entry for Ultimate Gamble with a 3-1-0-1 record for this year and a 9-3-1-1 lifetime record, stretching back to late 2022.

The last time out ended in the winners' circle at Del mar in an Allowance race. Is the Ultimate Gamble ramping up for their first stakes win? We'll see how he stacks up against the rest of the Pacific Classic field?

#4 Nysos -SCR
Jockey | Flavien Prat
Trainer | Bob Baffert

Formerly at post position #4 for the Pacific Classic Entries 2025 was the Pacific Classic morning line favorite Nysos. While he is out of the race at hand, he would have made a great contender with an impressive 6-5-1-0 lifetime record.

HIs long list of notable wins, include the Bob Hope Stakes (G3), Robert B. Lewis Stakes (G3), Triple Bend Stakes (G3), and the San Diego Handicap (G2). With the only second place being in the Churchill Downs Stakes (G1) to Mindframe.

With Nysos out of the race, who will be the winner in this Pacific Classic field?

#5 Indispensable
Jockey | Paco Lopez
Trainer | John W. Sadler

Taking post position #5 for the Pacific Classic Entries 2025 is Indispensable. He won the last time out at Del Mar during an allowance. Will Indispensable snag his first Grade 1 stakes win at Del Mar as well. We will have to see how he stacks up against the rest of the Pacific Classic field?

#6 Journalism
Jockey | Umberto Rispoli
Trainer |  Michael W. McCarthy

At post #6 in these Pacific Classic Entries 2025 is non other than Journalism. He has rightfully snagged the spot as the Pacific Classic morning line favorite, after Nysos scratched, and you need look no more than at his win streaks to solidify his Del Mar odds.

Journalism has dominated with a lifetime career of 9-6-2-1 and 4 wins from 6 starts just this year. Some of his notable wins after breaking his maiden at Del Mar, include the Los Alamitos Futurity (G2), San Felipe Stakes (G2) and the Santa Anita Derby (G1).

However, his second place in the Kentucky Derby and Belmont to Soveriegnty is nothing to scoff at, alongside his Preakness victory and most recent win in the Haskell at Monmouth. Can Journalism reenter the winners' circle against this Pacific Classic field?

#7 Lure Him In
Jockey | Hector Isaac Berrios
Trainer | Sam Wilensky

At post position #7, Lure Him In is cast into the Pacific Classic Entries 2025. One thing is for sure, Lure Him In has a long career beginning in 2019 with a whopping 53 starts. This year has been treating him well with with a record this year of 5-3-1-1. However, a stakes race win has not been among them.

With a decent record at Gulfstream Park in the Sunshine classic Stakes, winning 2 times out the last three years, will this be Lure Him In's chance to prove himself against this Pacific Classic field?
#8 Tarantino
Jockey: Edwin A. Maldonado
Trainer: Peter Eurton

At post position #8, Tarantino is cast into the Pacific Classic Entries 2025. Tarantino is another contender with a longer career, sitting at 31 starts. With not many first place wins, the odds may be stacked against him for this Pacific Classic field. Do you think his experience could propel him to the winners' circle?
